Challis Hot Springs campground is on the Salmon River off the beaten path at the end of a four-mile country road with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains just outside Challis, Idaho. Two natural hot spring fed pools on the premises make the site especially relaxing. A large pool and a therapy pool are both available to campers. Mountain, forest and river views are spectacular, and all sites have views of the mountains or the beautiful Salmon River. Some sites have views of both.

Hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and ATV and off road sports are all popular at the site. Twenty-five RV and tent campsites include electric, water, flush toilets, hot showers, and an RV dump station. Site rental runs from $20 to $28 per day depending on the location and time of year. Although the campground is open year round, weather and other condition do affect availability. Reservations and inquiries should be directed to the campground itself by calling 208-879-4442.
