NightHaven Tent

The Nighthaven Tent is a lightweight (2 pounds 5 ounces) and spacious (56.4 square feet) two-person tent suitable for backpacking and back country hiking and camping. The Nighthaven sets up using trekking poles and packs down into a very small, compact unit that can be comfortably carried wherever you want to go. The poles in the middle of the tent make the fit a bit tight, especially if both people have gear, but the lightweight and durability make it a good choice for hikers.

An optional mesh door helps with ventilation and minimizes condensation. A zippered eyelid vent above the door provides adequate ventilation in cold weather as well. The Nighthaven is also a bug-proof shelter and has more space than some of the solo ultralight tents.  The Nighthaven holds up well in snow too, with the same flaps that keep bugs out in warmer weather used to keep snow out during winter camping. The Nighthaven Tent retails for between $159 and $179.
