Sleepy Bear Tent Campsite
The Sleepy Bear Campground in Empire Michigan is just minutes away from the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb, Lake Michigan, and Little and Big Glen Lakes. Enjoy communing with nature on their large wooded sites. There are pull thru sites, full hook-ups, water and electric sites, cabin rentals and a rustic tenting area available. The treed campground includes modern restrooms, a camp store, laundry, LP gas and dump station.
Sleepy Bear has a swimming pool, playground, volleyball, basketball, game room, horseshoes, and ample room for bicycling. The 70 Acres of camping, picnic and playground area are next to state land hiking trails for those nature lovers. If you’d rather, check out some of the local golf courses and tennis courts that are available in the area while many inland lakes offer boat rentals, fishing and swimming.
