Who says boy scouts don’t get to set up camp even in the chilly weather? Apparently more than 300 Scouts from 37 troops will be at the George W. Pirtle Scout Reservation with the intent to be Eagle Scouts.
Scouts can choose to attend four sessions each day with topics ranging from aviation and climbing to textiles and landscaping. As an added bonus, each Scout attending camp will receive the Polar Bear award. This badge is earned by camping in weather below 32 degrees.
