Caravan by Bob Villa

Designer Bob Villa, drawing inspiration from Airstream and 50s style, came up with a unique yet classic caravan that stands apart from conventional designs. Sporting whitewall tires and wheel covers, complimenting the  smooth airstream form, aluminum band and dark windows, this new caravan idea is worth a second look. Featuring a modern and sophisticated interior, the concept caravan places a bedroom, covered by the electronically operated pop up roof, above the main living area. Users access the bedroom through a mobile ladder located at the end of the kitchen.

Furthermore, the caravan includes a normal bathroom and kitchen with fold out breakfast bar area, while the sofa in the main living area doubles as a bed with a second slide out mattress. If you require additional space, the fold down rear panel creates a decking area that can be used on the inside as well as outside space. This caravan offers a safe and sophisticated refuge on the go.

Victorinox Special Edition Airstream

To celebrate their 125th Anniversary, Victorinox Swiss Army has announced a partnership with Airstream to produce the very first “Victorinox Special Edition Airstream” travel trailer. These iconic brands have come together to create a brilliantly engineered and aesthetically pleasing 19-foot trailer.

Victorinox’s Airstream is equipped with a customized interior and a selection of Swiss Army products. This Special Edition Airstream travel trailer will start at $59,000 and will be available at participating Airstream dealerships nationwide. Production of which will be limited to just 125 units.

Mini Cooper Airstream

Airstream and MINI have collaborated to offer the best in both design and functionality with an Airstream and one-off MINI Cooper S Clubman fashioned by Republic of Fritz Hansen. Republic of Fritz Hansen is a Copenhagen based furniture company known for its minimalist design. They have spared no details when it came to designing the interiors. Inspired by the outdoor lifestyle of surfing, the Airstream interior will have, among others, new versions of Arne Jacobsen’s Egg™ and Swan™ Chair and a table with four unique Series Seven™ chairs thus allowing enough of room for guests.

The slick wood panelling will top it off by giving it the cool “modern surfer” look. It will also come with a contemporary sun bathing bed. “Here at Republic of Fritz Hansen we are thrilled with the collaboration and really look forward to introducing this unique and eye catching concept,” says Jacob Holm, President and CEO at Republic of Fritz Hansen.
