The Sleepy Bear Campground in Empire Michigan is just minutes away from the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb, Lake Michigan, and Little and Big Glen Lakes. If you’re traveling cross country this summer, Blue Ox (manufacturer of towing accessories) invites you to take a nice diversion from the main Interstates right into the heart of the Great Plains. Blue Ox is inviting all RVers to visit its campground and manufacturing facility in Eastern Nebraska. All Blue Ox customers stay at the campground for free, and non-customers pay only $15 a night. Beaverhead- Deerlodge National Forest is the largest national forest in Montana. It encompasses 3.35 million acres in Southwest Montana. Summertime gives you a chance to hike,bike and enjoy an array of water sports such as boating, fishing and swimming. If driving is more your speed then cruise the primitive routes to high-mountain lakes or drive more developed roads to places like Delmoe and Wade lakes.

Located in one of the most scenic areas on the Oregon coast, Sunset Bay State Park features attractive sandy beaches protected by soaring sea cliffs. Merely a short walk from the beach, the campground has sites for tent camping and RV’s, as well as cozy yurts.
The campground provides 29 full hookup sites, 34 electrical sites, and 72 tent sites with maximum site of 47 feet. There are also 11 group tent sites and a hiker/biker camp. Sunset Bay offers beach access in addition to opportunities for picnicking, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, and wildlife watching. 65,000-acre Allegany State Park is the largest state park in New York. It is known for its primitive, forested valleys, un-glaciated landscape, fall leaves, and wildlife but it also offers sandy beaches, picnic areas, museums, hiking trails, and nature walks. The Art Roscoe Ski Touring Area has some of the best groomed cross country skiing and mountain bike trails in the Northeast.
Snowmobilers can also enjoy its 90 miles of groomed trails and over 150 winterized cabins. Some of the other activities include bird watching, picnicking, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, canoeing, and horseback riding. Allegany State Park has 424 campsites, 375 cabins, and three group camps, all of which are accessible to disabled visitors. There is so much to enjoy in Allegany State Park no matter which season you visit.

Hunting Island in South Carolina is that states single most popular state park which attracts more than a million human visitors a year. Also drawn to the semi-tropical barrier island is a variety of wildlife, ranging from loggerhead sea turtles to painted buntings, barracudas to sea horses, alligators, pelicans, dolphins and deer and the coral snake. What they all seem to enjoy is five miles of beach, the thousands of acres of marsh, tidal creeks and maritime forest, a saltwater lagoon and ocean inlet.
Amenities include a fishing pier and some of the state’s most in demand campsites and cabins. For those looking to camp there RV camping is available at the northern end of the park near the ocean.
