Pedata management has provided motorhome and camper trailer users their list of the top 5 things you can do to “go green” while enjoying the RV lifestyle.

1.   Lower your carbon footprint by eliminating the energy expenditures in your home while traveling. Turn off unnecessary utilities before heading out for a long road trip.
2.   Minimize water use by turning off the shower while washing your hair or brushing teeth. Fill the sink with water to wash dishes instead of running it constantly throughout.
3.   Consider alternative energy sources such as incorporating solar panels on your RV.
4.   Check out campgrounds that encourage recycling and provide the opportunity to do so.
5.   Consider unhitching and parking the RV for around town travel or tow a vehicle behind your RV that gets good gas mileage.
